Extended Care  

We also offer Extended Care to our students who are currently enrolled in our Preschool program. Extended Care is available from 7:45am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday. Extended care registration fee is $25. The fee for hourly use is $10 per hour. Your child’s daily needs are our top priority. Please call us to discuss this exciting option.

We are now accepting registrations for the 2025/2026 school year. The Preschool will contact you after you submit your registration. If you prefer, to register by phone or email, please call us at (630) 513-7346 or email us and leave us your child’s information — child’s name, child’s birth date, your name and your phone number. We will call or email you back as quickly as possible to discuss your information. There is a $125 Registration Fee per child. 

We also offer Extended Care all year to our students who are currently enrolled in our Preschool program. There is a separate $25 registration fee for this service. Our Preschool Extended Care program is available from 7:45am to 5pm Monday through Friday. Your child’s daily needs are our top priority. Please call or email us to discuss this exciting option.

CURRICULUM IS WHAT HAPPENS IN AN EDUCATIONAL ENVIRONMENT. It allows for experimentation and creative activities and helps the child develop basic skills in the fine motor, gross motor, mental and cognitive areas of development. 

OUR PROGRAM REVOLVES AROUND EVERY DAY EXPERIENCES THAT FIT THE NEEDS AND ABILITIES OF THE INDIVIDUAL CHILD. The Lord of Life Preschool program develops your child spiritually, physically, mentally, socially, and emotionally. Our objective is to provide a foundation for skills and develop the enjoyment of the challenges of learning.

Your child will be involved in a variety of experiences such as: 
  • Religious experiences – daily prayer, Bible stories, chapel time and an overall Christian atmosphere.  
  • Social experiences – oral expression, developing self-esteem, and an awareness of the needs of others.
  • Cooperative play and sharing.  
  • Readiness experiences – patterning, sorting, classifying, ordering and basic problem solving.  
  • Indoor play experiences – water play, blocks, puzzles, pegboards, Legos and other STEM toys.  
  • Outdoor play experiences – climbing, jumping, pedaling, and other gross motor activities.  
  • Creative experiences – rhythm instruments, singing, finger plays and a variety of art media.  
  • Language arts experiences – stories and real-life experiences.  
  • Science experiences – cooking, experimenting and learning about the wonderful world God created through nature and our science centers.  
  • Field trips and guests – Pumpkin farm visit and visits from resource persons such as firemen, policemen, dentist and illusionist.  
  • Housekeeping and dramatic experiences – using role play in familiar and imaginative ways.

What do you enjoy about serving at Lord of Life Preschool

I love to see a child's eyes light up when they do something they are incredibly proud of. When a child zips his/her coat for the first time independently, it is so much fun to watch. When children write their names, or reach the faucet, or hang their paintings all by themselves I think that it is such a privilege that I get to share these moments with them. I especially love it when I'm telling a bible story and the children already know it. That means they are hearing it at home or at church too. It is so important for their spiritual growth and their relationship with Jesus that the Bible is reinforced at home. I also love to see the development of friendships between the children as well as their parents. These are important social skills they will use throughout their lives.
